Recently I had the privilege of doing a three day course with Brian Anderson in Christchurch thanks to Julia Price, Brian is a Dale Carnegie Trainer. Myself and fifteen like-minded people completed the “Skills for Success” programme. This was truly an amazing experience!
Being dyslexic myself it would be fair to say education has never come easy in my life and to be honest I found it a little intimidating being with other educated professionals, however Brian catered to my needs and I felt a real sense of belonging and the course was of great value to me.
The purpose of me writing this blog was to share one of the biggest “Takeaways” with you.
This is Dale Carnegie nine “Principles for Enhancing Relationships” and if you’re thinking about doing the course with Dale Carnegie, I would thoroughly recommend doing the “Skills for Success” programme.
]]>My family moved to Christchurch less than 2 years ago, and Elite 6 has been invaluable in helping me build my professional and personal network, as well as helping me grow my business and presence in Christchurch.
I had never been part of any networking groups previously, and i had several misconceptions about what they were about, but Elite 6 has dispelled all of them and i can thoroughly recommend Elite 6.
Thank you for your support Danny!
]]>Instead of your average buisness group looking to leverage, Elite6 develops a family, an Esprit-de-Corp that’s gives more than it takes.
This allows more open dialogue and a courageous expression from our members. Leading to more trust and care for other members. Despite our own personal trials in entrepreneurial exploration, we all stand together to support one another as best we can.
It starts in our own chapter and then is shared at central on a Friday. An open to all session that crossed the chapters boundaries. It finished with a pleasure in seeing our peers succeeding. Knowing they wish the same for us as well.
Sometimes we are away for periods of time but when we return it is even better, as everyone wants to know How you are? What’s been happening? What did you learn / achieve?
Without avarice or jealousy but with honest and heartfelt support.
I dare you to find this in other groups to this degree.
The glue is Danny de Hek, Elite6 is his buisness and his buisness is good.
