As one of the founders and Directors of Undercontrol Credit Management, & having been in business for 16 years I‘ll go beyond the call of duty to make a business better. I love partnering with people around Christchurch, getting inside their businesses, giving it a health check and a shake-up if need be. I’ve helped transform businesses by improving their internal systems, maximising their cashflow, and building positive relationships with their debtors and creditors.

I had the opportunity to work for Inland Revenue for 18 years. The knowledge and experience I gained set me up with a great understanding and appreciation of all tax revenues and how a business should be run. My IRD experiences highlighted that businesses need to be more proactive with their approach to credit control. It became very clear that businesses were lacking in front end processes, like terms of trade, or invoicing.

Everyone describes me as passionate, bubbly and energetic because I love what I do and deliver 100% every day. I’m a lateral thinker, always coming up with creative solutions & achieving great results where others have tried and failed. I am passionate about building better businesses, adding value and assisting companies to maximize their growth. For me, Undercontrol is about more than the final dollar; it’s about adding value, building relationships and the long term goal of their business.

In 2003, Undercontrol began with directors Jeannette Kwant and Ali Little working in the business and growing solely through referrals. They have over 45 years’ combined experience in the debt collection field and still have a great sense of humour. Undercontrol now have a growing team of dedicated professional staff, who love collecting money and reducing your debt. We are high energy and always strive to do the best for every client.

We have high business ethics and practise what we preach. Client confidentiality is paramount to our success. As our client base grows, we enjoy supporting and promoting our clients through networking.

We are honest, reliable & innovative. We don’t like to lose, and work hard towards obtaining success for our clients. We offer incentives for those reluctant payers and sometimes find chocolate fish through the mail works wonders! That doesn’t mean we won’t play hardball if we have to!
